We are continuing to work to understand the landscape of local antenatal care, both from a service perspective, and from the parent and community perspective. We have been speaking with women around the Wimmera about how they have experienced antenatal, and broader maternity care, throughout their pregnancies.

Cara and Hannah spent a few days in Melbourne this week at the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Centre for Community Child Health, meeting with colleagues new and old with a jam-packed itinerary!

Following the completion of the By Five Paediatric Project two-year evaluation, the By Five team have been working closely with True South Film to bring to life the project’s story and important information found within the evaluation.

Paediatric Project Participants get Creative over Breakfast!
To finish of February and farewell Summer Cara and Hannah welcomed a small group of diverse professionals involved in our flagship Paediatric Project to participate in an early morning breakfast and workshop to assist us in creating a visual to reflect this rural model of paediatric service delivery that integrates with local services on the ground.
Productivity Commission to Hear Rural Voice on ECEC
By Five are very excited that the Wimmera and North Central areas are being provided an opportunity to meet with the Productivity Commission into ECEC to discuss rural challenges and feedback on the draft report in March 2024.
