Lights, Camera, Action!

What a busy, but fantastic week it has been, bringing together in film the story of our By Five Paediatric Project.

Following the completion of the By Five Paediatric Project two-year evaluation in 2023, the By Five team have been working closely with True South Film to bring to life the project’s story and evaluation findings.

The end product will be a mini-documentary that highlights what makes this model of rural paediatric care so unique to our region and it will focus on the positive impacts this model of practice has for our rural children, families, professionals and communities.

The heart of this story is in the lived experiences of those that have benefited from this model, and we have been fortunate to have a number of families and professionals so willingly commit to sharing their stories.

The True South Film crew ventured from Geelong to Stawell, Warracknabeal, Dimboola, Horsham and Melbourne, to meet just some of the people and places that are integral to this paediatric work and we look forward to sharing this incredible documentary with you soon.
