By Five After 2025

By Five were funded for four years to identify barriers limiting our WSM children from thriving in learning and life. With insight from our local professionals, in-depth knowledge of service funding and guidelines, sharing of stories and unpacking these challenges we have identified and trialed some great initiatives, from increasing Paediatric access to capturing alternative funding solutions to increase rural ECEC access. We continue to refine and advocate for alternative service models that truly put children, families, and communities at the centre of how services are designed.

We know short-term interventions help people BEAT the odds, but systematic interventions CHANGE the odds. We are working hard to maintain funding to continue the By Five work and changing systems to enable ALL children in our rural communities and beyond to thrive.
