Paediatric Update

By Five commissioned the Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) to evaluate the paediatric work we have been undertaking over the past two years, to identify what is working well, what could be improved and to generate a better understanding of the changes occurring as a result of this initiative.

This evaluation is now complete.

Thank you to all of the local professionals and families who contributed to its findings. This evidence will not only inform how we progress, refine and embed this model of practice moving forward, but also potentially have implications for how rural and remote services may be delivered more broadly to strengthen and support local assets.

We were also fortunate to have Dr Sylvie from the Royal Children’s Hospital visit the Wimmera this month to see some local faces and places. She enjoyed exploring some of Horsham and the Yarriambiack Shire, and can’t wait to see more of our beautiful region at her next visit in November.
