On National Early Childhood Edcuators’ Day, we celebrate ECEC champions from across our region.

 The role of an ECEC educator more than just a job; it is more than just caring. It plays an important role in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning, and development in the important early years, which shape a child's future.

Your work profoundly impacts the lives of children when extensive brain development occurs and the foundations for lifelong learning, social capabilities, and growth are established. In addition to providing essential education and support for families, you also enable many families who choose to work to do so in a broad range of essential roles. It’s remarkable how many professions depend on your dedication!

 We at By Five are driven every day to help bring equitable, accessible, quality education to the Wimmera and to uplift the profession. We know that if we can build and maintain a strong ECEC industry and workforce in our region, the benefits will flow to the children, families and communities for generations to come.

Thank you for the incredible work you do. Thanks for educating the little minds across the Wimmera Southern Mallee, wiping away tears, tying shoelaces, applying sunscreen, reading stories, listening, singing, wondering, planning, supporting, recording and playing. Thanks for helping them grow, change, try tricky tasks, and sometimes watching them fail, then encouraging them to try again and succeed.
